Micah Plath's girlfriend, Veronica Peters, may soon regret her decision to finally appear alongside him in Welcome To Plathville. Micah is the third oldest of the ultra-conservative Plath family’s nine children. After being raised in a very sheltered environment, Micah left his parents’ Georgia home to pursue his dream of becoming a model in California. Life on the West Coast exposed Micah to people from all walks of life. He appeared to thrive in his new environment, finding a diverse group of friends and exploring casual dating.
Micah shocked viewers when he revealed in Welcome To Plathville season 6 that he had left California to live with his girlfriend in Florida. Veronica concealed her identity for the first six episodes of the season, despite Micah filming in their shared home. Micah respected her wishes to remain private, but her desire for privacy was at odds with Micah and his family’s public lifestyle. Veronica finally decided to appear on camera, a choice that subjects her to criticism she may not be prepared to face.

Veronica’s Insecurity Makes Her Vulnerable To Harsh Criticism
Veronica was very hesitant to appear in Welcome To Plathville. She hates being the center of attention, and the idea of being on television made her very uncomfortable due to her insecurity. Unfortunately, Micah’s public lifestyle required Veronica to change her mind. She was missing out on experiences with Micah and his family, which forced her to choose between her privacy and spending time with them.
Sadly, Veronica’s decision to go public may come back to haunt her. Comments on TLC’s Instagram reel of Veronica’s introduction give a glimpse at the negativity she now faces. Commenters were brutal towards both Veronica and her relationship with Micah. A comment by @michshelly69 read “that is not his forever,” while @1cunninglady wrote “Not gonna last. She’s very controlling.” People even discussed Veronica’s appearance, with many suggesting she looks like Micah’s sisters. Even after opening up about her insecurity, Veronica has not been spared judgment.

Veronica will be devastated if she and Micah break up. She took a leap of faith by revealing her identity because she thought her future with Micah was worth the investment. Although they seem confident in their relationship, the added pressure of appearing on the show might become too much to handle. Now that the relationship has been exposed on the show, it can’t just disappear. Their breakup would become a storyline in Welcome To Plathville, which would be heartbreaking for Veronica to endure.

He had a great group of friends and enjoyed spontaneous trips to the beach or ski resort. Micah embraced the freedom single life provided, and he seemed unlikely to settle down anytime soon.
Micah is only 23 years old. Veronica is 24. They are both extremely young for long-term commitment. Veronica and Micah share a home and three dogs, but it's unclear how long they have officially been together. Although their relationship may be new and exciting now, young love rarely lasts.
