How do you beat Savathun on legendary? ›

Push into Savathun's protective bubble and hit her with everything you've got – Supers, heavy weapons, grenades, Vorpal Weapon-equipped specials and primaries, anything. Savathun will hit you with her own Supers during this phase, so stick close to cover.

All you need to do is remove the small health chunk in front of Savathun's HP bar. A Primary is all you need for this, but feel free to use your Super and Heavy here; you'll get a Rally Flag after this. Stick to one side of the arena for cover, as Savathun will only fight near the portal.

The fights are tough, but the game doesn't punish you for taking on the difficulty--instead, it removes as many roadblocks as possible. More than anything, though, taking on the Legendary campaign solo makes the stakes of The Witch Queen's story feel real.

So the tactic here is zip all the way across the arena, turn and shoot Calus with Osteo and Retrofit as he charges you, then zip across the arena again right as he's going to hit you. Osteo can also clear Psions that spawn so don't let them build up.

Make sure you have quick Runic attacks equipped that chain together well to make the most of these openings. Runic attacks are a great way to break her wing shield too if she uses it with your first heavy attack (although we still highly recommend Block Break by double-tapping L1).
